Generally, we use words in groups. "A group of words, which makes a complete sense, is called Sentence".
साधारणपणे, आपण शब्द गटाने वापरतो. "अश्या शब्दांचा समूह, ज्याला संपूर्ण अर्थ प्राप्त होते, त्याला वाक्य म्हणतात".
Pattern of sentence:
1. मराठीतील वाक्यरचना खालीलप्रमाणे आहे
कर्ता + कर्म + क्रिया
Subject + object + Verb
प्रतीक + जेवण + जेवत आहे.

कर्ता + क्रिया + कर्म
Subject + verb + Object
Jhankar is eating the food.
कर्ता: क्रियापदाने दाखवलेली क्रिया जो करतो त्याला कर्ता म्हणतात
मराठीमध्ये 'कोण' किंवा 'काय' याचे उत्तर देणारी शब्द कर्ता म्हणवून घेतात.
Subject : The subject answers the question : Who?
क्रियापद: वाक्याचा अर्थ पूर्ण करणाऱ्या क्रियावाचक शब्दाला क्रियापद म्हणतात./क्रिया दर्शविणाऱ्या शब्दास क्रियापद म्हणतात.
Verb: Verb tells something about subject.
कर्म: क्रिया ज्यावर घडते त्याला कर्म म्हणतात. याचे उत्तर वाक्यास काय व कोण विचारल्यावर मिळते.
Object: The object answers the question: What or Whom?
Part of the Sentence:
Each sentence has a subject to speak about and say or predicate something about that subject.
So every sentence has two parts
1. Subject: A person and thing about which something is said is known as subject.
कर्ता म्हणजे वाक्याचा तो भाग जो व्यक्ती किंवा वस्तू बद्दल माहिती देतो.
2. Predicate: Something which is said about the subject is called predicate.
एखाद्या वाक्याचा भाग जो कर्त्याबद्द्ल काहीतरी सांगतो त्याला विधेय म्हणतात.
उदारणार्थ:
Omkar(Subject)+is eating the food. (predicate)
